Nowadays,  fast moving commercialised world has made honesty a rare quality. The order of the day seems to be hustling and bustling. People prefer good creature comforts to good character. People seems to look up to people with financial success and take them as their role models. Good character does not come in to the picture. Why like that?
      Honesty has become, in today's world, a hidrance to financial success. So many people has turn to unfair and crooked schemes and classy advertisements to promote their service and good to achieve what they want. However, what none of these people seems to realize is that dishonest gains will not last for long and will dissipate quickly.
     Besides being a virtue, we should also remember that honest people will always being remember with their good character. Imagine going to shop and after paying for your purchase, you forgot to take back your change. And then imagine going back to the same shop some time later and the fist thing the proprietor does is return your change that you have forgotten the previous occasion. Hou will you feel ? would you be the customer to that shop again? If I were you. Of course I will! Now imagine going to a shop and being short-changed! would you go back to the same shop? oh well, I don't think so!
     A person who gains from dishonest means may make quick profits but in the long run his reputation will be ruined and people whom he has created will not return to him subsequently.
Therefore, honesty is still the best policy. Honesty is the art of being truthful.
